Anna Klosek, MA, EdS, LPC, LCMHC, CCTP
Anna Klosek is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in West Virginia and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina. She received her Master of Arts (MA) in Psychology in 2000 and her Educational Specialist (EdS) in School Psychology from Marshall University in 2001, with additional post-graduate coursework in Counseling from Marshall University and Liberty University with an emphasis in Christian Counseling. Anna is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional by Evergreen Certifications and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, along with other state and national counseling associations.
In addition to Anna’s Clinical Counseling experience, her professional experience includes many years of work as a School Psychologist, as well as having worked in various other mental and behavioral health capacities in inpatient and outpatient settings, social service agencies, and school systems in both West Virginia and North Carolina. As a professional counselor, Anna works with children, adolescents, adults, and families, both individually and in groups, to collaboratively support them on their individual growth journeys. Anna utilizes an eclectic strength-based therapeutic approach to counseling, which integrates cognitive behavioral therapeutic strategies along with other modalities. Some areas of focus are stress and anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, coping with life transitions and adjustments, codependency, trauma, emotional regulation, ADHD, and Christian counseling. Anna has a special interest in the areas of mindfulness and prevention.
Anna resides in the Mid-Ohio Valley with her husband, where she volunteers and serves in various ministries and community organizations. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends as well as maintaining an active healthy lifestyle, including spending time in nature, walking, and gardening
